ENERGY FORECAST: BE GROUNDED AMIDST FANTASY.
The energy forecast for this Full Moon will bring forth many of the aspects of the earth sign, Virgo. A sign of work, fitness, routine, and practicality, Virgo energy likes to get all of the details in a row to plan and prepare. Ruled by Mercury, a planet of the mind and communication, we will all be faced with getting the answers we need or laying the framework for things to come. Even in areas of love, creativity, adventure, or relationships, we will be eager to “read the fine print” and make sure we have a strong, steady foundation in order to build and grow something, rather than watching it flourish organically. We want to assess how we are going about living our lives and how we can improve our growth not just immediately, but further on down the road. There are two major aspects to point out at this Full Moon: an opposition with Neptune (in Pisces), the planet of dreams, imagination, mysticism, and illusion, as well as a trine to Saturn (in Capricorn), the planet of stability, longevity, security, and patience.
NEPTUNE WILL BLUR REALITY.
Because the Moon (our emotions, feelings, inner motivations) will be opposed by Neptune, there will be a very murky edge to negotiations, causing tension with the earthy, practical nature we are seeking to express. Nightmares, subconscious fears, delusions, illusions, and deception may come into play. Things will not be as they seem. If you are in the midst of a business negotiation or the beginning of a relationship, people may be prone to idealization rather than living in reality. Be very careful to not get the wrong impression of someone, and make sure that people are not getting the wrong impression of you. Communicate as effectively as possible so that you are not prone to scandal, gossip, or drama. If you are feeling low vibrations, such as depression or anxiety, be sure not to indulge in alcohol or drugs because you may become susceptible to weakness, illness, or addiction. However, with an opposition to Neptune, there are positive ways to allow this energy to be expressed. Surround yourself with as much creative or spiritual energy as possible. Go to see a live performance. Buy a canvas and paint. Journal. Meditate. Volunteer for charity work or visit an orphanage or elderly hospital. Use this time to breathe and relax rather than being brought down by the cosmic fog.
SATURN WILL BE SUPPORTIVE.
Saturn’s trine to the Full Moon will be very helpful because it will allow us to bring some further balance into our decisions and lives. This grounding aspect will bring us emotional stability and patience to resolve issues that come up. It is key to use common sense and your rationale, intellectual mind rather than intuition or emotion in all decisions that pop up. This aspect is not as strong as the opposition to Neptune, so be cautious and slow rather than jumping headfirst into something you do not want to do. Saturn’s support will also bring long-term energy to this Full Moon, so do not agree to something long-term that is shaky and blurry from the start. If it seems like it’s too good to be true – it probably is.
ARIES
Your work life is on fire! Get ready for new projects, new work opportunities, or any steady work that you've been focusing on for the last six months (your job, your daily hobby, your daily commitments) to come up. If you've put in great effort, you will reap rewards. If you have not, the way you have been approaching work will change and you may decide you're not in the right place anymore. It is also possible you are spending a great amount of time finishing up a big project that is due or is ready for release. Buckle down; put in those extra hours, it will all be worth it.
