Your Full Moon In Libra Horoscope & Reflection, According To Your Zodiac Sign

As the northern hemisphere tilts towards the sun, we are blessed with longer and brighter days. Keep in mind, you can look at the changing of the seasons both literally and figuratively speaking. It’s all connected and reflected onto our soul path, and human experience. After all, the earth’s journey around the sun  is symbolic of both the light, and the dark. And though to each his own—given that there is something unique about every season—there’s no denying the magic of the springtime. It’s almost as if Mother Nature gifted us with the zest, courage, and colorful backdrop needed to begin our journey through the zodiac with confidence, clarity, and inspiration. This, of course, goes hand-in-hand with the essence of audacious Aries, as it is a representation of seeds, paths, and initiation, so take a deep breath and inhale new life. Winter is gone; Spring has sprung, and new beginnings await you over the horizon.

Governed by overzealous Mars—the planet of assertion, desire, impulse, and red-hot passions—this astrological season bestows us with a sweet boost of energy, and fresh perspective from the cosmos. The sun in Aries is here to do one thing, and that’s to light the cardinal fire in our hearts. But in the midst of springing forward with strength, vigor, and lust for life, it’s important to maintain a healthy balance in the process. Lo and behold, the second lunation of the month is upon us, and in the harmony-seeking sign of the scales. A powerful and paradoxical full moon, happening on March 28 at exactly 8 degrees Libra, the seeds planted during the new moon in the same sign are now in bloom. For more reference on this lunation, check where 8 degrees of Libra is located on your birth chart; think back to the new moon that took place back in October 2020.

Libra is a representation of balance, codependency, equality, harmony, and justice. Its cardinal air is kind, light-hearted, and diplomatic. Governed by Venus—planet of love, romance, pleasure, and values—it’s essential to acknowledge what the goddess of love is up to during this time, as it is the full moon’s ruler. This is precisely where things get tricky, as diplomatic Venus will be transiting through warrior-like Aries, where it is said to be in detriment. And though there’s absolutely nothing wrong with this Venus placement—on the contrary—Aries’ fierce independence and desire for assertion can be a bit challenging for compromise-driven Venus. Moreover, Libra’s planetary ruler will be sitting at exactly 8 degrees—forming a pivotal conjunction with the sun and the wounded healer, Chiron—in Aries. Keep in mind, the moon is sitting across the way at the exact same degrees, making this revealing when in regards to balance, relationships, finances, and perhaps even your love language.

It’s also ironic when you think about Libra being a sign that’s symbolic of the sacred equilibrium between the divine feminine and sacred masculine, let alone during a lunar phase that represents a call for balance in our lives. Venus-ruled Libra and Mars-Ruled Aries speak to the delicate balance of yin and yang but perhaps in this particular case, the lack thereof. Something else to consider during this lunation is, Aries is symbolic of one’s sense of self, individual identity, and levels of assertion; Libra has everything to do with the relationships, compromise, and justice. Summing this up—the moon being emotional, the sun representing your ego in the physical dimension, and Chiron acknowledging past wounds and burdens—it’s safe to say, this lunation is here to shed light on the emotions and residual energies that trigger your vulnerability when it comes to relationships. Aries wants to take action towards its passions, but Libra wants to connect and relate to others.

Who says you can’t have the best of both worlds? Perhaps if you take a moment to reflect on the emotional triggers that resurface during this time, that would be a start. As you know, Aries is governed by Mars, and the red planet will be transiting through intellectually driven Gemini during this time. Conjunct the North Node, Mars in Gemini is encouraging us to gather the facts, process the necessary information, and relay the message, however we please. Now, the plot thickens as we need to see what Gemini’s ruler (Mercury) is up to and if you thought Venus in Aries during a Libra moon is ironic, I’m pretty sure Mercury conjunct mystical Neptune in Pisces takes the reins. Simply recognizing that both Mercury and Venus are in signs where they feel challenged, not to mention unable to work at their fullest potential, speaks volumes. Fortunately, however, this full moon is here to heal, but that isn’t always easy.

In the meantime, take a moment to reflect on the foundation of your connections, and relationships: What kind of foundation were they built upon? Are they authentic? Do both parties approve of each other’s individuality? Is there a healthy compromise? Do you meet each other halfway? Now go deeper. What brought you two together? Does the relationship dynamic remind you of the past? Are there any patterns that seem familiar to you? How do you show up? How do they show up for you? Mercury conjunct Neptune in Pisces encourages us to have compassion, empathy, and unconditional love; Venus in Aries motivates us to prioritize our freedom, pleasures, and values; Mars in Gemini adds energy and vitality to our conversations and thoughts. Consider this your cosmic cue to level up, both personally and when it comes to your relationships. Speak your truth and more importantly, open your heart.

Each and every one of us has an individual perspective, and there are emotions stemming from past experiences that may still cloud our judgement from time to time, but there’s more than one side to every story. It wouldn’t hurt you to listen.

Aries

Cheers to a magical solar return journey, Aries. Amidst celebrating another blessed trip around the sun, your audacious planetary ruler, Mars, continues to activate your intellectual third house space, energizing and revitalizing your conversations, connections, and POV. Alongside the North Node, the cosmos is encouraging you to speak your truth but by that same token, cultivate more compassion for yourself and others in the process. The full moon in Libra will shake up your seventh house of committed partnerships, significant others, and ideas of compromise, bringing closure and clarity to this area of your life. Although, with the sun, Venus, and Chiron conjugating in your sign, there could be something you’ve been hiding, or perhaps avoiding due to the fear of vulnerability, coming to the surface. Release, forgive, and set yourself free from the past. Full Moon Reflection: How has your relationship with yourself, and with others evolved? Is there a healthy compromise?

Taurus

It’s easy to fall into the mental abyss of what others have to say about you and the status quo, but what about you, Taurus? Your darling planetary ruler, Venus, is roaming through hazy twelfth house of closure, dreams, hidden agendas, and all things behind the scenes, bringing harmony to everything from clandestine affairs to your repressed desires. Both the sun and Chiron are there as well, highlighting wounds revolving around your individual freedom and personal identity, so it’s perfectly normal to feel introspective during this time. Although, with the moon in Libra igniting your sixth house of health, daily rituals, and acts of service, this is an opportunity for you to reflect on whether or not your current situation is working in your favor. Full Moon Reflection: Do your actions measure up to your self-worth? Are your sacrifices worth making?

Gemini

You’ve got the power, Gemini. As the sun transits through Mars-ruled Aries, Mars simultaneously brings the fire to your mutable territory, alongside the North Node. And while the sun, Venus, and Chiron activate up your platonic eleventh house of associations, community, and sense of belonging in the world, the full moon in Libra will touch down on your affectionate fifth house of love, passion, pleasure, bringing something especially significant to fruition. Perhaps this has something to do with being recognized in your career, now that Mercury and the ruler of your Midheaven, Neptune, are transiting through your professional tenth house. Otherwise, this could revolve around your sense of authority, along with what you’ve sacrificed to get to this moment. Themes surrounding your happiness, your inner child, and/or parenting are likely. Full Moon Reflection: Is there something or someone stopping you from being unapologetically yourself?

Cancer

It’s a new dawn; it’s a new day and you can feel it in your bones, Cancer. The sun, Venus, and Chiron are transiting through your ambitious tenth house of career, legacy, and reputation in the world, highlighting themes that revolve around authority figures along with your sense of authority, both personally and professionally speaking. And with the full moon beaming brightly over your cozy fourth house of home, family, and emotional foundations, everything from your family dynamic to your living space and sense of stability becomes top of mind. Meanwhile, Mars continues to travel alongside the North Node via your twelfth house of closure, karma, and all things behind the scenes, bringing unconscious patterns to your conscious awareness. Full Moon Reflection: Have you made peace with your past? How has this influenced your belief systems?

Leo

You’re on an endless journey of self-discovery, Leo. The sun, Venus, and Chiron are simultaneously transiting through your expansive ninth house of adventure, education, wisdom, and unknown, shedding light on everything from your personal philosophy to the knowledge you’ve acquired throughout your lifetime. Desires, relationships, and financial opportunities that would require you to venture the unknown could come up for review, but this year’s full moon in Libra will illuminate your chatty third house of communication, thought process, and immediate exchanges. Your words are a reflection of your experiences, but the truth is out there. Mercury is sitting alongside Neptune via your erotic eighth house of intimacy, mergers, energetic exchanges, dissolving the boundaries between you and a significant other—don’t lose sight of your individual truth. Full Moon Reflection: How has your communication style shifted? Are you compromising your truth?

Virgo

Neptune and your planetary ruler, Mercury, are sitting across the way via your committed seventh house of one-on-one relationships and significant others, encouraging you to cultivate more compassion for others. This, however, is impossible if you haven’t done the same for yourself, Virgo. Do you have compassion for yourself? Meanwhile, with the sun, Venus, and Chiron hovering over your intimate eighth house of debt, sex, mergers, energetic exchanges, themes surrounding the foundation of your intimate relationships and financial mergers are brought to the forefront. The full moon in Libra via your stability-seeking second house of value systems could potentially cast its light on imbalances that are present in your current unions. Full Moon Reflection: Where are you investing too much, and not getting the same in return?

Libra

You’re up, Libra. This full moon has your name on it but you’re not the only one under Mother Moon’s magnifying glass. After all, with the sun, Venus, and Chiron shaking up your committed seventh house of one-on-one relationships and significant others, the full moon likely be illuminating themes that surround your connections, especially those where you feel inhibited, or perhaps feel a lack of individual freedom. And with the full moon touching down on your sign, repressing your emotions will hardly be an easy task, especially if you’re concerned with the thought of people-pleasing, as opposed to standing firm in your truth. Mars—the ruler of your relationship sector—will be sitting alongside the North Node in your exotic ninth house of faith, experience, and unknown territory in the meantime, motivating you to consider the possibilities in the process. Your daily rituals and wellbeing matter; make yourself a priority more often. Full Moon Reflection: Is the balance you’re seeking working in your favor? Where have you been neglecting yourself?

Scorpio

Your traditional ruler, Mars, continues to shake up your erotic eighth house of intimacy, mergers, joint collaborations, and energetic exchanges, igniting everything from your curious libido to your desire for connection. And with the sun, Chiron, and Venus transiting through your responsible sixth house of health, daily rituals, and acts of service—all while the full moon casts its light over your secretive twelfth house of unconscious patterns and hidden agendas—you’re likely coming to terms with the areas of life where you’re over sacrificing, or perhaps investing in something that is to your detriment. Mercury will be sitting together with Neptune in your fifth house of love, passion, and pleasure, reminding you that you, too, deserve happiness, Scorpio. Full Moon Reflection: How can you be of service to yourself, and your happiness? What fulfills you at a soul level?

Sagittarius

Mercury—the ruler of your relationship sector—continues to sit together with Neptune via your sentimental fourth house of home, family, and emotional foundations, encouraging you to go inward, and prioritize your sense of inner stability. And while the full moon in Libra casts its light on your experimental eleventh house of associations and community, the sun-Venus-Chiron will conjugate via your fifth house of love, affection, and self-expression. There could very well be a lack of balance here, and the influence other people have on you—including your significant other—could come up for review during this time. This is especially true when in regards to your authenticity, passion projects, and self expression; romantic partners could be top of mind as well. Full Moon Reflection: Do your friends motivate you, or intimidate you? Where are you holding back?

Capricorn

The sun, Venus, and Chiron continue to shake up your cozy fourth house of home, family, and emotional foundations, while Mars and the North Node ignite your responsible sixth house of due diligence, and responsibility. You’re being led to participate in more day-to-day activities with your family members, and/or perhaps take care of an elder. Some of you might be remodeling your living space in its entirety; hence the brain fog stemming from Mercury and Neptune in your communication sector. Although, more importantly, this is reminding you to have more compassion for your immediate circles in the process. The people you communicate with on a regular basis are under the spotlight of this transit, but there’s more. Luna—the ruler of your relationship sector—will beam brightly over your ambitious tenth house of career and reputation in the world, bringing closure and clarity to themes surrounding your legacy, and sense of authority. Full Moon Reflection: Are you being reasonable with your requests? Are you biting off more than you can chew?

Aquarius

This year’s full moon in Libra will touch down on your expansive ninth house of adventure, opportunity, knowledge, and unknown territory, bringing themes surrounding your desire for thrill and experience to the forefront. Keep in mind, this could also revolve around entrepreneurial ventures, self-publishing, and/or education. However, amidst looking over the horizon with hope, the moon’s ruler Mars will join forces with the North Node in your romantic fifth house of love, passion, affection, and self expression, reminding you of your joy and solar-plexus curiosities in the process. Mercury and Neptune will also come together in your second house of finances, security, and value systems, highlighting everything from your financial sacrifices to your self worth, and/or lack thereof.  Full Moon Reflection: How has your environment shaped your perspective on life? Are you searching for more?

Pisces

It’s all a work in progress, Pisces. This year’s full moon in Libra will illuminate your sultry eighth house of debt, mergers, joint collaborations, and energetic exchanges, bringing themes surrounding the “give and take” of your relationships to the forefront. Whether it be romantically, personally, and/or financially, something pivotal is coming to fruition in this area of your life. Meanwhile, with the sun, Venus, and Chiron lighting up your stability-seeking second house of value systems, this suggests the possibility of there being a lack of balance when in regards to everything from your spending habits to your sense of self worth. Mars and the North Node will simultaneously conjugate via your fourth house of home, family, and emotional foundations, encouraging you to go inward and reflect on past events that may have influenced your current reality. Full Moon Reflection: Where should you take back some of your energy? What do you value in a significant other?
